Another first for us this time.
This post is pretty late in my typical posting schedule. For some reason, I never uploaded these photos to my computer once I got back to the west coast. I thought I lost them but luckily, I managed to discover them before I reformatted a card.
Back in December, Jules and I were out on the east coast for a wedding/seeing old friends (we then headed to Florida for New Years). The bride and groom held their wedding in the Baltimore area and the rehearsal dinner was at the National Aquarium in the Inner Harbor. One of the awesome advantages of being in the Aquarium after hours was the lack of people. The last time we were in the Aquarium we got to wander around, but we didn’t get the free range that we did this time.
The other different part was bringing the EOS-M along. Instead of my “bulky” DSLR (especially because it is a rehearsal dinner) it was great to bring along a camera that was discreet, yet getting great photos. Granted, the low light provided some challenges but generally it was fairly easy to get some great photos without the typical crowds. If you thought the Aquarium was special, it is even better when its just you and the exhibits.
I’m going to let the photos speak for themselves this time. What do you think?
Well, looks like a belated welcome back to Charm City is in order 😉
Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos from your after-hours visit! We hope to see you again soon!
Thank you! You bet- we will be back soon!
