Well, in case you were unaware- Jules and I finally got hitched!
After almost a 2 year-long engagement (which was planned: we had a specific date in mind) Jules and I got married in a wonderful ceremony on a veranda overlooking a golf course in Solon, Ohio. Surrounded by 157 of our closest family and friends, we truly had a wonderful weekend seeing everyone and catching up. I wanted to treasure this moment for a long time (and share eventually with our kids) so I decided to film from a couple of people’s perspectives using Google Glass. The perspective that I was most excited about was our Rabbi’s (who graciously agreed to wear them for our vows and exchanging of rings).
Currently, we are one of 4 weddings that has incorporated Google Glass into their (respective) ceremonies. I believe (with 95%+ certainty) that we are the first (as in ever) to have a Rabbi/officiant wear Glass for part of the ceremony. The rest of the footage (outside of the Rabbi) was filmed by myself and Ryan Cantwell over the course of a couple of days.
Engagements (see my last post) and Weddings are two areas where I truly think Glass will be a game changer for Photographers/Videographers. The ability to get additional footage, fairly discreetly, is huge- and Glass allows you to do just that.
