As referenced in my last post, MacWorld did have a surprise in store for me. But not anything I was expecting.
While I was (mindlessly) wandering the Expo Floor checking out all the new stuff, I made a point to drop off a couple of business cards at company booths. These booths carry products/services I like, and a raffle drawing never hurts. Well, one of the booths was for DecalGirl. They make high quality skins for a variety of products, and if you have seen me in person, you know I love to customize my tech. Sadly, my picture of their booth turned out too blurry to save.
So what happened? I won their drawing for an iPad mini + decal skin.
To say I’m floored is an understatement. While I know it was luck, I still appreciate it immensely and I cannot wait to really start using it. As a bonus, it’s nice to have the (relatively) easy wearing black finish protected. I love the finish on it- check them out here.
I was so excited by this I decided to write a post- they did not ask me to. They did send me an iPad mini, so everyone is happy.
Love my iPad mini, wish I’d won one though – set me back quite a bit!! Might have to look into getting some decals 🙂
Thanks! Yeah, they are pretty awesome but less protective than a case (so keep that in mind).
